Header Blog Post
My header helps support my theme of helping eating. To visually help support my theme I made my header a picture of healthy foods . I feel that this theme is very important because many people see eating healthy food as being expensive or lacking flavor so people resulted to eating unhealthy food that is cheaper or just bad for them. Being a college student I know many other students who struggle with paying for food and wish they can afford healthier food. So to target my audience I have my made y header catchy with a picture of healthy food. I found my picture on Flicker by Marco Verch. To create my header was a complex process. First I found a image from google which was owned by BBC. Then I revived the image by Marco Verch. Following that I used Pixlr which is an editing app. This app helped me put my image on top of the other picture. This process is more complex than just using single layer bit-map because it requires you to stack other pictures on other which requires more editing.
Personal Blog Post
I bet many of you are wondering how fitness can be related with relationships? No need to worry I am going to tell you. In a generation that is driven by social media you can meet so many people through instagram as well as twitter that can connect people with similar interest together. Many fitness groups have connected through social media. I know personally I joined Rutgers running club because of social media. I ran in highschool and loved being part of team so when I came to Rutgers I was nervous because the school is so big but I thank instagram for helping me find this club. Health and fitness is a topic that sometimes people feel weird about it but I have found that social media can connect people together that are sharing the same journey that you are on if that it either to lose weight or to just feel good about yourself. I know when I started my fitness journey I thought I was alone and people didn’t understand what I was going through but I found many blogs about people that were sharing their journey and motivated me to keep going as well as giving helpful hints. Below I have attached the Rutgers club instagram page as well as blog that I follow that share great healthy food recipes.
